Heart Connections is the specialised personal relationship centre of
Catalyst Coaching.
Relationships are the most significant, rewarding and challenging parts of our lives. It is a commonly known fact that people in supportive, loving
relationships are far more productive at work, healthier physically and emotionally, and generally thrive
in all areas of their lives; yet this crucial area of life is often sadly neglected.
Wendy and her staff provide discreet, personalised, one-on-one services in the
areas of dating, matchmatching, and relationship coaching. Heart Connections also hosts interesting and fun theme-oriented events
and seminars under Great Connections. Heart Connections can help you to create and maintain
healthy, loving relationships. Our staff can assist during any step in the process:
from matchmaking and starting a new dating relationship to revitalising an existing relationship, or gracefully
ending a partnership.
Heart Connections also utilises other experts, such as image consultants, as we take a "whole person" approach towards
our relationship coaching and matchmaking work.
Wendy Somers—Coach, Director and Matchmaker: Wendy has been successfully coaching and connecting people together
for many years. She has spent her career matching people together, first as a high-end executive
recruiter, later as the director of one of the world’s largest egg donation banks and infertility services, and then as a successful relationship
coach and matchmaker. She is a highly trained
coach with over 2800 hours of coaching and mentoring experience.
Wendy has completed a
one-year, hands-on coaching programme at Coaches Training Institute and a year-long leadership programme; she has a dual BA in Psychology
and Communications Hons., an M.A in Psychology, certifications from the University of Auckland, and has
also completed specialised relationship coach training. She also sat as a board member of the
International Coach Federation Australasia (ICFA)—the oldest and largest professional association
of coaches in the world. Wendy is an accredited coach with the Leadership Development Centre (LDC) in
New Zealand.
On a personal level, she was divorced after thirteen years of marriage, has three great
kids from her first marriage, and is re-married in her second challenging but loving partnership.She has personal experience in re-entering
the dating world after many years of marriage
Heart Connections and Catalyst Coaching have offices in Wellington, Auckland and soon in Christchurch, New Zealand. We can provide
dating, relationship coaching, counselling and seminar services throughout New Zealand upon request.
